Hotel on the Adriatic coast

This is design proposal for small hotel / pension on the Adriatic coast. It has sixteen guest rooms, six of them hi-class apartments. It is located on small peninsula which is part of a bigger bay.

Main goal here was to use local materials and traditional techniques when building facades of this architectural object. Standard 3d rendered look wasn't appropriate to communicate this concept graphically. That's why I used Fractal Painter and Photoshop filters to soften 3d rendered images and achieve painterly effect.

Already existing artifacts were starting point for site design. Old, partially ruined stone walls of vineyard gardens find their reflections in the walls of the new building. These old wall are appearing partially in interior too.

Material combination is: stone (both in natural and shaped form, stone plates ), wood, stucco, glass and concrete all in natural colors and finishes.
